| A bit off topic, but IMO, players should face some sort of penalty for not seeing out their contracts. What's the point of giving someone a 4-5 year contract if they're going to honour it for two years tops? Ridiculous. | |

| I suppose, but then that loses money for the clubs. | |

| If I were president of UEFA, I'd make players have 2 games suspensions for each year of the contract they didn't honour. | |

| But some players only sign contracts to help the club get more money for them | |

| My opinion is more geared towards people switching clubs ever 1-3 years because they didn't get more money or whatever. If a club is selling you, then it's not really your fault, but if you've got 4 years left on a contract and you want to leave because Real or Chelsea are willing to pay you double or more what you make, that's just plain ridiculous. | |

| Koscielny: "Would he [M'Vila] be good at Arsenal? Of course. I will try to convince him to come when we are together at the Euros." | |

| Love it how when Xavi tapped up Cesc we all got RAAAGE, but now that Koscielny and Sagna are doing it, we are fine with it. Hypocritical world we live in. | |

| I know.
If we can get M'Vila, Giroud with Podolski already here then this is by FAR the best transfer window ever for a gooner.

| Of course, however I wouldn't mind if he is. I don't think many of us mind if he goes. What we worried about was whether we would get a competent replacement. | |

| Hopefully, he keeps improving the squad over the summer. Would be nice to see Arsenal win the title. | |

| It's nice to see anyone besides United and Chelsea at this point. I don't exactly like the way City got to the top, but it's nothing Chelsea didn't do and nothing United hasn't done progressively. I just would've liked to see them do it without Sheik money. | |

It's ridiculous and cracks me up, tbh. But then again, I don't really consider it tapping up until someone offers a contract without the club's consent.

| Giroud pens a four year deal with Arsenal. Medical pending obviously. 13m. Good deal. | |
