As you all know, they've been relegated; thus, we know a good chunk of their players are up for grabs.

I'd like us to get Rossi, but considering he's injured until sometime between October and February, not likely. But hey..at least his value has dropped considerably.

I'd also like us to get Musacchio, but I have a feeling he'll go to another La Liga club or somewhere like Roma.

The rest can go wherever Cool

Rossi is such a risk, I think he's going to go very cheap somewhere. He might never be the same again but with modern surgery it's possible. In football teams won't give you much of a chance after a serious injury.

Two consecutive ones at that. I don't know how much he makes, but Villarreal would probably make more selling him on the cheap and making up the money via the salary they don't have to pay him. But on the upside, at least now he has an excuse for being on twitter 24/7.

Hmm. They have some good players like Zapata, Borja, Nilmar, and an injured G. Rossi. It'll interesting to see how many of those they can keep.

Btw, I heard Roma were looking at Musacchio.

Yeah, I've heard that too. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up taking him off Villarreal's hands.

I'm interested in Nilmar, especially if Bojan goes back to Spain.

Personally I think Rossi would be worth the risk, classy player who is still fairy young. His injury's really have been horrible though, hopefully he does get back to the player he was before and returns to tearing shit up.

The Inter guy? Yeah, heard something about him before? Wasn't he finished at like 26 or something?

Hopefully that doesn't happen to Rossi, he's far too talented and it would be such a horrible waste.

Laughing just looked it up, Seedorf for a guy that hardly played a game after 25YO, bet Inter fans were pleased with that bargain.

All I know is there is a lot of money supposed to be exchanged on both ends for some average player.

It is some glorified loan thing where if we wanted to keep him we would pay in total over 40m Laughing We payed 12m or something for him last summer and next summer if we choose not to keep him Barca pays us 13m Laughing He should be sent back to Spain or offer them like 5m for a permanent move.

So....you paid to loan and then if you don't want him, they pay you back.....but if you want him, you have to pay over 40m?

Neutral He's not even worth a bag of doritos.

Bojan is so strange, he looks fantastic as a sub and at that start of some games but he has a 30 or so minute timer where after that his form severely dips. If we bought him outright and really worked on hard on developing him it could pay off, with this loan deal thing he is just a waste of time. We should be developing our own players and giving them a go in the first team, our Primavera is stacked right now.

VILLARREAL, Roig Jr.: "Musacchio is important for us, Rossi will remain"

Interviewed by Tuttomercatoweb.com, Villarreal Chief Executive Fernando Roig junior has declared: "Roma want Musacchio? They haven't talked with us jet. Our doors are not closed but he's an important player for us, so we would sell him only for an important offer, and we have not received it yet. Rossi? He has a four year contract and we are intentionned to keep him".

Two things, though:

1.) Who is going to bid on an injured player they can't use until possibly next year near the end of the seaon?

2.) How is he going to pass a medical?

Well I suppose there is that but at the same time if a clubs really does want him and the price is good, say 15m, then I doubt those things will matter.

Are medicals something that you have to pass? I always thought that they were just there to make sure there is any hidden injury's like a heart condition or an infection. Surely if a club wanted him then they would just made sure there was nothing else physically wrong with him apart from his knee injury

Well, I don't know about there, but here, there is no set standard, but it is a higher standard than most countries. Here, most clubs will not transfer you if you are injured. If you are recovering from an injury and able to train, then they will allow it (some clubs won't). Then there's the whole thing you mentioned. Though Serie A is good for the checks, the standard of what is allowed and what isn't really needs to be set. But hey, that's Italy. Disorganised and fun.

I'm not too sure what its like here tbh, I don't really know enough about medicals. I remember Demba Ba ''failing'' one at Stoke because he had an apparent chronic knee problem I believe which they thought would mean he would never be fit but nothing because of a broken leg etc.

Lets not forget Aly Cissoko and his teeth as well Laughing

Pretty sure Liverpool signed Aquilani when he was badly injured so I doubt Rossi's injury will put a lot of clubs off, the 4/5 months he will miss will be worth it for the 4/5 years of goals they would get from him.
